Why does the contact and privacy pages have a different design to the rest of the Website?
We want that you can read our contact and privacy pages without any interruptions. That's why we decide not to use our general background design for these two pages. Via the links of the menu bar you will reach the other pages of our website with the general design again.
Why are there no Social-Media Buttons on this website?
Your data privacy is very important for us. Social Media Buttons sending data like your IP Adress or your Browser-Version to the social networks whos button is integrated to a website. If you are logged in to the social network at the same time, the information are linked with your account and a movement profile is created. We are not supporting such kind of technologies, which by the way are illigal after the GDRP came effective in the European Union on May 25th 2018. That's why you will not find any Social Media Buttons on our website. Links to our Social Media Channels are standard HTML links. Nevertheless we added a section about social media in our privacy policy. We are also publishing our content on YouTube, that makes it theoretical possible that we are embedding YouTube content to our website, what we definitly not do. And for the people who don't believe our statements here, they have it in black letters on white background in our privacy policy.
Why are videos not autoplayed on our website?
We are aware of that autoplay videos are using a lot of data especially in mobile connection. We are committed to reduce the needed data to display our website. That is why we do not use the autoplay function for videos.
Are we use tools to analyze the visitors, tracking pixels, tracking cookies, cookies and/or Log Files on our website?
No. We do not use tools to analyze the visitors of our website. The same applies for tracking pixels, tracking
cookies and cookies in general. The only analyzed data from our website will be provided by standard functions of our
hosting provider Netcup. Netcups stores logfiles for 14 days on default. But Netcup offers a preferences to change the
log rotation manually. Regarding the GDPR we used this feature to change the log rotation to a maximum of 7 days.
What exactly our hosting provider logs in the log files is written in our privacy policy.
By the way analyzing tools like Google Analytics or Piwik/Matomo don't have a home on our website.
How we are reducing the loading time of our website?
We are very committed to keep pictures on our webiste as small as possible without reducing the quality. Our aim is to keep every picture between 10KB and 1MB size. We also using CSS and HTML 5 technologies to reduce the loading time of our website.
Why are the most external links not usable via klick?
The reason for this restriction is a current decision of the european high court where owners of a website must garantee that all external linked websites does not contain any illigal content. As we are not be able to check every peace of content of an external linked website we decided to go the save way and to set the external website address as text.
Does we play advertising on our website?
In refer to our handling the social media buttons we are also here committed to your privacy rights. Because Nemeth/Star Productions is only producing non-profit productions we are also not set any advertising banners on our website. This would make the website a commercial product which we not suppose. Nevertheless we are open for aggreements to place as we call it "social media support and promotion link(s)" to our project pages. These are standard html links to a page of your choice which is checked by us before placing the link. Links to websites with problematic content are not placed by us and a cooperation does not come about. We also re-check placed links from time to time to avoid that they not became problematic. These aggreements are not commercial. They are a service in return for sharing a selection of our content on your social media pages. Except of this everyone is welcome to donate to us via <a href="https://tharp.de/paypalme" target="_blank">PayPal Me</a>.
Why we set links with the e-mail address instead of a contact form?
We are not interessted in collecting personal data of you. That's why we not using contact forms and give you the privacy friendly way to contact us directly via our e-mail address.
How we are handeling RSS-Feeds and embedding of content from external websites?
We do not offer and also not embedding external RSS-Feeds to our website. We are extremly limiting the embedding of external content to our website. Mostly of such embeddings forcing us to set external tracking cookies to our website which we want to avoid. This is also in your interest of your privacy protection. Currently we are embedding external content of two website.
The first one is from the website <a href="https://umap.openstreetmap.fr" target="_blank">https://umap.openstreetmap.fr</a> and provides extra map material
to our Original Writings Pages and our filming sites Page.
The second one is from <a href="https://twitter.com" target="_blank">Twitter</a>. The embedding of our Twitter timeline is only happing on the page, linked
as "Twitter Feeds" in the menu bar.
The third one is from <a href="https://www.vero.co/nemethstarproductions" target="_blank">Vero</a>. The embedding of our Vero timeline is only happing on the page, linked as "Vero Feeds" in the menu bar.

Any link to our social media channels are a standard HTML link. The link you click is a link of our own operated URL Shortener (Question 15) who forwards you to the page of the service. The stats of the URL Shortener is only collecting number of clicks. No other personal information are collected by the URL Shortener.
What is OpenSans?
OpenSans is a font for websites, which we also use here. The Font is Open Source and is designed by Steve Matteson. The Font was published at <a href="https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Open+Sans" target="_blank">Google Fonts</a>. Please note that this website do not include Google Fonts via Referrer Link to the Google Server. The used Google Fonts on our website were downloaded to our webserver and included via CSS from our webserver.
What does intense the logo of Nemeth/Star Productions?
The logo of Nemeth/Star Productions is in 16:9 and in a resolution of 1080p designed. the logo is a mix of 5 pictures, which are designed to flow in together. All pictures were self produced. The pictures symbolize the cities and countries Nemeth/Star Productions is most represented. This places are: Frankfurt am Main (Headquarters), Johannesburg, Cape Town, Muizenburg and Mekélé. In the 2019 Update, pictures of the people of the inner production cycle were added.

Nemeth/Star Productions was founded in 2003 under the name "Nemeth / Star Corp.". In 2013, the name "Nemeth/Star Corp." was registered with the DPMA as a word mark. Nemeth/Star Productions was registered as a word mark by the DPMA in 2017. From the beginning, it was important that the productions of Nemeth/Star Productions emerge as non-profit productions. There were and are no commercial goals for the Nemeth/Star Productions. Non-profit also means non-profit.

This short URL, which is accessible through the website <a href="https://tharp.de" target="_blank"> https://tharp.de</a>, has been manually generated by me. <a href="https://tharp.de" target="_blank"> https://tharp.de</a> is a URL shortening service provided by Nemeth/Star Productions, which is based on the open source tool YOURLS. The URL short service is purely for our purposes and has no public interface. When calling URLs via tharp.de will completely null all IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Thus, your IP address is completely anonymous and can not be evaluated by us.
