The filming of the first and second episode of Jozi ngaphakathi was processed in February 2019. The first episode was filmed in Soweto, Parktown, Rosebank and Sandton. The second episode focused on the Cradle of Humankind 20km north of Johannesburg. | |||
A third episode was filmed in January 2020 in Soweto, the Zoo of Johannesburg and in the emerging district of Maboneng. Some re-shoots have been done in Johannesburg and the Cradle of Humankind in January and February 2021. The third episode was published in 5.1 surround sound. | |||
